Consensus Consumers Society (CCS) is a non-political, non-communal and non-profit voluntary organization. CCS has been working for the creation of public awareness, research, adulteration preventive activities, and to assist the concerned authorities in implementing consumer rights and to create a special team conscious consumer rights. Any person interested in joining this work can be a member of the CCS.

'Consumer Youth Bangladesh' (CYB) is a youth organization of CCS. CCS believes that young people will play a key role in establishing consumer-friendly Bangladesh. CYB is working in different educational institutions of the country to create a conscious consumer society by organizing and awaring young consumers.

US President John F. Kennedy focused on first consumer rights in 1962. In 1985, the United Nations recognizes consumer rights. In 2009, Bangladesh Government passed 'Consumer Rights Protection Act-2009'. In this, 8 rights are specified for the consumer. These rights are called consumer rights.

B) Right to information.
C) The right to get a safe product or service.
D) Right to choose.
E) Right to know.
F) Right to complaint and redress.
G) The right to learn about consumer rights and responsibilities.
H) The right to a healthy environment.

A) Knowing about consumer rights and deductions.
B) Knowing the benefits of conserving consumer rights.
C) Knowing about the consequences of anti-consumer rights actions.
D) Buying and selling the right product or service at the right price.
E) Being organized and vocal to implement consumer rights.
F) Filling Complaint.

A) The complaint will be filed within 30 days of the incident.
B) The full name of the complainant, name of the father and mother, address, phone, fax and e-mail (if any) and occupation should be mentioned.
C) The complaint must be written in.
D) Complain can be made through electronic media like fax, e-mail, web site etc.
E. Complaints can also be lodged by going directly to the Directorate and by postal or courier.

The complaint must be submitted to the voucher of the purchased goods or services as evidence.
